Architectural Glazing – Design & Projects Engineer

Cambs Glass Limited – Brandon, Suffolk

Cambs Glass Limited is one of the leading specialists in Bespoke Architectural Glazing throughout the UK. Due to growth in business activities we are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong design background Utilising AutoCAD, and will have a proven ability to manage contracts from initial design through to site commencement. Some knowledge of glazing
systems would be an advantage but full systems training will be provided.

Business Development Manager

This role is responsible for the growth of Cambs Glass through the development and execution of a plan to target and acquire new business.

Key accountabilities & Responsibilities:

– Assumes responsibility for targeting new business within designated sectors.
– Generates new business leads through prospecting, cold calls, marketing analysis/targeting key accounts and relevant trade shows/events.
– Assumes responsibility for meeting monthly sales and revenue targets as set by line manager.
– Negotiate commercial agreements for new and existing clients
– Create proposals for clients, using all resources available
– When new opportunities are identified direct them through the relevant channel based on company policy and relevance to the customer.
– Negotiate and effectively manage corporate agreements and other contracts in line with company policy.
– Maintain a high level of competitor awareness and modify approach where necessary to compete.
– Renegotiate existing contracts as required with customers.
– Maintain administration duties cheap topamax online required for agreements, proposals and marketing
– Attend relevant events.

Competence and Skills.

– Strong business Acumen.
– Ability to transform key data into clear business commentary and action points.
– Ability to summarize results with a focus on business implications and decisions.
– An understanding of the Corporate, Academic, SME or MICE markets is advantageous.
– Actively uses all opportunities to gain contacts and build customer base.

– Demonstrates keen negotiating skills.
– Ability to maintain motivation when working alone and within a team.
– Ability to plan current and future workloads, well organised, methodical & accurate, time management & patience are also a must.
– Able to work alone and as part of a team.
– Maintain a high level of customer service.
– Flexible to working out of the office and able to travel to business meetings and events
