Working on a new large build property for a leading property development for the world renowned Wentworth Golf Course. The team at Cambs Glass designed, manufactured and installed 2 no fixed glass internal partitions located between the swimming pool and adjacent lounge and gym areas to the subterranean part of the development.
The team also supplied a bespoke screen to the client’s wine cellar featuring a frameless glass door fitted off of the surrounding glass panes with the use of dorma patch fitting. The door also incorporated a floor spring providing a 90⁰ hold open facility and a 2 speed selfclosing feature. For added security the door was also fitted with a central point lock.
With screens adjacent to swimming pools it is good practise for glass screens to be provided in a toughened laminated specification; that means, should the screen ever become broken then the majority of the broken glass section will be retained. This will minimise the potential harm to the residents using the space and also the pools filtration system.
